COMPASSION

"Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me." (Matt. 25:40)

We are reaching out to over 200 families on Saturdays each month and about the same on Sundays at our outreach in Denver. Our Sunday outreach touches many different ethnic groups, the most recent being Iraqi refugees. It is exciting to be the hands of Jesus to a hurting world and provide hope where it is lacking!

We are seeing people come to faith in Jesus and grow closer to Him every week. One of our core values at SHV is doing the “stuff” Jesus did. We want to carry His ministry to those that we believe He would reach to today. Our vision this year is to strengthen and expand what we are doing. That means that there is plenty of room to help in serving and developing this ministry. Look at the options below, prayerfully consider them, and please contact us if you are interested.

Sunday Outreach
Every Sunday the NET has a food ministry at 1st and Havana. We are currently feeding over 80 individuals every week at this location. If you would like to join us, or call him at 303.690.2520. This is a great way to plug-in and to help others; there is no ministry training necessary, and the time commitment is very manageable. 

Food Bank
Smoky Hill Vineyard food bank is open Saturdays from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. We serve about 200 families a month with groceries and other items.
